Tradition- Specific Measures of Spiritual Well- Being

2022

Tradition-Specific Measures of Spiritual Well-Being | 2020 | by Tyler J. VanderWeele, Katelyn N. G. Long, and Michael J. Balboni | This is a chapter from the book “Measuring Well-being: Interdisciplinary Perspectives from the Social Sciences and Humanities” | The authors  propose that the study of well-being would be advanced by the development of tradition-specific measures of spiritual well-being across different religious traditions. To that end, they provide some conceptual background and develop a set of items to measure Christian spiritual well-being, including the development of the Christian Spiritual Well-being Scale.
