Called to Care: A Strong Community for Lasting Health

Johns Hopkins University | June 6-8, 2019

At our core, faith communities are called to care for themselves and those in need. Paul’s letter in Philippians 2:3-4 reminds us to “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. The Hope to Which He has Called You

In the face of daunting health issues, Christian ministries often find themselves under-staffed, under-resourced, and overwhelmed. There are days when many of us are tempted to simply give up in order to pursue a different line of work. But there is far more going on than meets the eye. As a result, even tiny Christian ministries have the the capacity to advance high-impact interventions that bring comprehensive and lasting change. This is the hope to which He has called you. | PowerPoint
