Protecting U.S. Foreign Assistance
CCIH joined 31 other faith-based organizations in signing a letter to the leadership of the committees of the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate with jurisdiction over foreign affairs spending urging they maintain the current level outlined in the Continuing Resolution for the U.S. International Affairs budget. The letter states critical humanitarian and poverty-focused programs provide strong return on investment to the U.S. taxpayer, helping create a healthier world for everyone, and generating goodwill toward the United States.
