Supporting U.S. Foreign Assistance
With support from CCIH, leaders of 18 members of the Africa Christian Health Associations Platform sent a letter to U.S. Senate Majority and Minority Leaders Mitch McConnell and Chuck Schumer and U.S. House Leaders Speaker Paul Ryan and Representative Nancy Pelosi to express the tremendous benefits their communities have experienced from U.S. support of health and development programs. The leaders praised the role the U.S. has played as a leader in global health and expressed gratitude to Americans motivated by humanitarian goals and Christian values.
