Cervical Cancer
CCIH and IMA World Health joined nearly 30 organizations working in health in signing letters to members of the Senate and House of Representatives Subcommittee on State, Foreign Operations and Related Programs and to USAID on the high death toll from cervical cancer, which is preventable and treatable with the right screening and vaccinations. The letters urge Congress to support funding for cervical cancer programming and for USAID to clarify that programs to address cervical cancer are eligible for USAID funding.
