Concern Over Steep Budget Cuts for Food Security and Nutrition

As Christians, we care deeply about the health of vulnerable people. With that in mind, CCIH signed a letter organized by the Faith-based Coalition for Global Nutrition to the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate expressing our concern about the severe funding cuts to global food security and nutrition programs in the U.S. President’s budget for Fiscal Year 2018, especially the reductions in the Nutrition sub-account with the Global Health Programs of USAID and to the Feed the Future global agriculture development initiative.
