Faith-sensitive Approaches to Gender Equality and Empowerment

The International Partnership on Religion and Sustainable Development (PaRD) released this publication, which celebrates the powerful role of religious actors in championing gender equality and showcases innovative strategies aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 5 (SDG 5). Featuring 12 impactful faith-sensitive initiatives from diverse regions around the globe, the booklet highlights a variety of approaches aimed at addressing the systemic inequalities that affect women and girls. Each example underscores how religious and cultural sensitivity can serve as powerful tools for overcoming barriers, driving positive change, and fostering inclusive solutions to complex gender challenges.
