Webinar on Media Relations Print {sharethis label=}
CCIH held a webinar on October 25, 2012 to help organizations and individuals lift up important causes and share stories from their work. We also addressed how organizations should respond if contacted by a member of the media and how to use Twitter, Facebook and other social media tools to advocate on critical issues and to engage and motivate supporters.

We heard from two experts in global development communications: Patricia Brooks of MatchMap Media and David Olson of Olson Global Communications. They shared their expertise on today's media outlets; including blogs, online and print newspapers, magazines and social media.

These tools can be used regardless of your focus area, from family planning to HIV/AIDS, and from water and sanitation to food security.

Faith groups and their partners are working hard to reach the world's most vulnerable and marginalized. Sharing our stories helps gain support for the work of faith-based organizations and enables us to accomplish even more. Also, speaking out for those who can't and advocating for health care for all is critical to CCIH's mission.
